Description
American and Australian troops continued to push forward to corner Japanese in the Buna area in spite of the strong enemy resistance. In jungle fighting the Allied Troops were taking a heavy toll in enemy lives in driving the Japanese back toward the sea. In this photo just received in this country American soldiers in the Buna stand about an exhausted Japanese soldier.
