Col Edwin Gunner (left) and Col Matthew Gunner whose Ar,y careers for 30 years have been a series of reunions and partings, had another reunion last week at Fort Slocum. in 1911, Matthew took his Army exam at Fort McPherson where he met his brother Edwin who was station there with the 17th infantry. In 1916 they were both for a time members of Company K, 10th Infantry. After that they served together in the Canal Zone. They cam together next in the War Plans Division of the War Department general staff from 1930-1930. In 1936 they met in Tientsin China after Edwin had completed a tour of duty in Hawaii and Matthew had completed on in the Philippines.

Photo is dated 1941.
