1980 Press Photo The Regimbals meet with Rev. Louis Taelman at Gonzaga Univ.

From 1909 to 1912 the Rev. Louis Taelman, 94, served as president of Gonzaga university. Mr. and Mrs. Laurent Regimbal, Toppenish, Wash., in his honor donated Taelman gardens to the school. Yesterday Father Taelman met the couple who are making his name a permanent part of the campus scene. Pictured (from left) are the Rev. Edmund W. Morton, the Regimbals and Father Taelman. Tuesday Father Taelman observed the 75th anniversary of his becoming a Society of Jesus priest.
