1965 Press Photo Smith Hogsett Jr. of Spokane, researches mental illness

The mental development of schizophrenic children was studied this summer at the University of Washington's School of Medicine by Smith F. Hogsett, son of Dr. and Mrs. Smith F. Hogsett, S4807 Madelia. He worked with university researchers, testing children to determine their level of mental progress. A graduate of Lewis and Clark High School and University of Washington, Hogsett was one of 130 medical students under the school's summer research training program. Photo measures 9.5 x 7.75 inches.
