Description
Michael Cardinal Faulhaber, Archbishop of Munich, Germany, who is reported today, July 5th to have been held a prisoner in his city. This news came coincidentally with that of a new and vigorous anti Jewish campaign said to be under way in provincial centers of the country. The cardinal has been a severe critic of the Nazi regime in his land and only last January was the subject of an unsuccessful assassination.
