Colorful James Evans Crown, editor of the New Orleans, La States and a newspaper man's newspaper man, soon is to reach a climax in the toughest battle of his 42 years in the fourth estate. His paper was the first to loose a blast against the politician empire left by Huey Long in the state. From it sprang the investigation which led to indictments of prominent public and private officials. Whether the Long Empire can survive will be answered within the next two weeks when Louisiana voters go to the poles to choose a governor. If it falls, crown can tale a Lion's shares of the creditor its demise.
