Authorities say that a man living in Cincinnati, Ohio, for the past three years and using the name Robert White is really Maurice Mallion, who disappeared eight years ago from Ypsilanti, Michigan, leaving a wife and four children in that city. Mallion disappeared in June of 1957. Now jailed in Ann Arbor where faces non-traffic charges, White's identity was learned when a routine fingerprint check after a traffic offence disclosed his dual role. White denies any knowledge of a life in Ypsilanti. White-Mallion is shown being questioned in Washtenaw county jail by undersheriff Clare M. LaFerier (right).
