1976 Press Photo Peter Seitz Arbitrator Baseball

Spring Training is supposed to open in another month. Nobody in Baseball is sure yet whether it will or not. Negotiations between the baseball owners and players has along history of dragging and this latest one has been especially slow for two obvious reason. First because the reserve clause was declared illegal by arbitrator, Peter Seitz.. and second because the owners have gone into court to appeal the ruling.
