District Judge Mercedes Deiz announced her candidacy for the new position of judge of the circuit court in the Dept of Domestic Relations for the 4th Judicial District. The new position, Department 18 in Mulnomah County, was created by the legislature. Admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1960, Mrs Deiz specializes in family & juvenile matters, serve as pro tem circuit judge in Marion County's Court if Domestic Relations.
