Congressman William E. Wilson and Mrs. Wilson of Indiana are shown assisting the Boy Scouts to plant a tree at the Lincoln Memorial taken from the home of Nancy Hanks, mother of Abraham Lincoln. Boy Scouts of Evansville, Indiana, secured the tree and it was planted by Eagle Scouts of Washington.

Photo is dated 1924.
