Vice-President and Mrs. Edward Gann are shown entering the Pan-American Union where they attended the official dinner tendered by Ambassador Davila of Chile. This dinner was the first attended by her since she became the center of a social controversy and her chair stood at the right of the host, Senor Don Carlos Davila, Chilean Ambassador. That position was in accordance with what had been demanded by her brother, Vice-President Charles Curtis.
