Description
Mexico City: With hair appearing to stand on end, Jesus Salcedo, sword grasped in right hand and cape in the left, desperately dodges the curved horns of an enraged bull in Mexico City during a recent bull-fight program. Salcedo, a "Novillero", spun to the Earth as a result of the charge of "Toro", but scrambled to his feet uninjured. With Banderilla's sticking from his humped back, the bull proved a test for Salcedo, making his debut in the Plaza Mexico as a novice fighter.

Photo is dated 1954.

Photo measures 9 x 7.25 inches.
