Description
Evelyn Schofer, a tour guide at the Salem Lutheran Landmark Church museum, walks down the planked floor toward the back of the church. Restoration of Salem Lutheran Landmark Church, the building that is called the cradle of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, is proceeding slowly but steadily. Members of denomination's historical society are optimistic they soon will have the money to complete the work, which has been a long time in the making.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 07-06-1991.
