Chief of U.N. Forces In Seoul: General George Henry Decker pictured at his head quarters in Seoul. He is Commander in Chief of the U.N. Command, Commander of the U.S. Forces in Korea, and Commanding General of the 8th U.S. Army. During the second World War he was Chief of Staff of the 6th Army in South-West Pacific, and was appointed to his present post in 1957, after serving as Deputy Commander in Chief of the U.S. European Command. He has recently become Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army. His is pictured with his golf trophy presented to him by President Synghman Rhes of South Korea. The general's average round is in the 70's.
