Stowaways ''Thrown into the sea'': The Piraeus Port Police Authorities recently arrested the captain of the German cargo boat "Rudgert Vinnen" of Bremen 5- year old Bert Steeve, who is accused of throwing into the sea two Turkish illegal passengers who has secretly boarded the boat after they paid 60 dollars to the carpenter of the vessel. The two Turks were discovered in Alexandria, but since the Egyptian authorities refused their disembarkation, the German captain, it was alleged, gave them two old life jackets, some water and one dollar, and throw them into the sea while sailing off the coast of Crete. One of the two Turksk, Salin Triffi succeeded in reaching the coast of Crete and was saved, whilst the other named Akir Ekiyun, was probably drowned as two days of searching failed to find him. Photo shows the Turkish illegal passenger Salin Triffi, who was saved after he swam to the coast of Crete Island.
