Sea-Elephant in Stuttgart Wilhelma Zoo For the first time in zoo history a sea-elephant born in captivity could be held alive over the dangerous 24 hours period. The young elephant born in the Stuttgart Zoo was fed with a special mixture proposed by a specialist. Zoo director Albert Schochle (left) and a warden presented the sea elephant baby to the press recently.
