The Netherlands celebrates Easter traditional bonfire Ceremonies: In East Netherlands the whole population of the villages make a traditional trek into the woods to search for and cut down a huge tree, which they pull through the village streets and then with the aid of a barrel of tar - the tree is set on fire and the villagers join in dances and merry making in general all part of the Easter ceremonies of Holland.
