Skyjacker held after Airport Drama: A skyjacker who seized a BAC 1-11 jet airliner on a flight from Manchester to London, was overpowered after a successful bluff. The man, who held the crew hostage for eight hours at Heathrow Airport, had demanded 100,000 and to be flown to Paris. Instead the plane flew to Stansted Airport. Essex, where he was overpowered as he left the plane. Photo shows The pilot, Captain Harry Lea, makes a point watched by the two stewardesses who were also held as hostage - Barbara Brindley and Heather Ablard, at Stansted Airport, after last night's drama.
