Beginning of spring: Every year the pupils of Landau in the Oberpialz are celebrating their ''Summer Day'' at March 21, they are marching through the streets with gay Summer sticks and waving paper-ribbons. During a spring play they are gathering on the town hall square and are burning the winter.
