Free - after ten years of convict prison.
Hermann Josef Flade, former school-boy in the Erz mountains/East Germany, is free again. 10 years ago, he had been sentenced to death because of opposition against the state, in Dresden/East-Germany. The sentence had been changed into 15 years of convict prison for the - at that time - 18-year-old Flade. Now after 10 years, he was released. For his parents who live since 9 years in West-Germany, in the Bavarian town of Traunstein, this was the best Christmas present. Their son has already written them two letters after his release, and perhaps he will visit them at Christmas.
