Caption: Globetrotting Jim McKay has hosted"ABC's Wide World of Sports" since its inception in the spring of 1961. McKay, who has covered most of the 96 different sports carried on the award-winning series, will also put his experience to use next year as one of ABC's chief announcers at the 1968 Winter and Summer Olympic Games.
