Caption: College gets reprieve on its finances - William Herbert, the interim president of Wayne County Community College, said Thursday he will try to straighten out the financial aid office and "heal the wounds" left when former president Reginald Wilson was fired. Meanwhile, the college got a reprieve on getting its financial aid records in order. Herbert, who was named as temporary head of the 23,000 student school Tuesday, said both areas were important.
