Caption: Tony Ball, 17, of Clawson, added two awards Friday for sales efforts which had already won him trips to Tunisia, Italy, Montreal and New York. Tony, representing 7,500 Free Press carriers at an Adcraft luncheon in the Detroit Hilton Honel, received a $50 savings bond from Otis Chandler, publisher of the Los Angeles Times. He also got a $25 gift certificate as a door prize. The luncheon was sponsored by the American Association of Newspaper Representatives to launch National Newspaper Week.
