1936 Press Photo Adolph Spreckels Boater Injured

Caption: Seattle, Wash., June 15 - Sportsman Hurt in Speedboat Mishap - Adolph B. Spreckles, 28, (above) wealthy California sportsman, was seriously injured here yesterday when the racing boat he was piloting leaped from the water onto a lake shore. A bystander also was hurt as Spreckels was hurled through the air against a telephone pole.
