Description
Four for the Force - Production of USAF/Northrop B-2 stealth bombers continues as Northrop's final assembly plant in Plamdale, California. In mid-March, Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney certified to Congressional leaders that the results of flight testing of the B-2, including low observables, flying qualities and performances, were satisfactory. The Administration has requested funds for four additional bombers in the fiscal year 1992 defense budget.
