Ludlow Castle, Shroonshire, England; In the Council Hall, now roofless, of Ludlow Castle, Milton's masque of "Connis" was performed when the Earl of Bridgewater took up his appointment of Lord Lieutenant of Wales. Here also the boy King Edward V and his brother were lodged just before their removal to the Tower of London where they were put to death.
