Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
John Saloma, Ripon Society and Young Americans for Freedom's president for its first four years from 1962, is now assistant professor of political science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Comparing the Society with the conservative Young Americans for Freedom, he concedes that the latter is a more effective political force, with a high level of intensity. But Ripon is ahead in the number of top Administration posts which individual group members actually hold.

Photo is dated 1970.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.
