1964 Press Photo Albany, NY Veterans Administration awards volunteer service

Albany, New York - Mrs. Lelia Northrup, left, of 37 Providence Street, McKownville, a member of Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, receives a plaque for having served 7,500 hours as a volunteer at Veterans Administration Hospital. Presentation is made by Dr. S. K. Livingston, chief of staff, as Mrs. Rose McEnroe of 85 Morris Street, a member of the American Red Cross team, displays her citation for similar service. A third award went to Mrs. Margarite Gabriel, 1669 Wester Avenue, also a Red Cross worker, who was not present for the ceremony.
