This is an original press photo. The falls, located in Menominee county, is called "Bear Trap Falls" by the native Indians. When the level of the water is just right and the sun's rays hit the falls at the right angle, there appears an outline of a polar bear caught in the trap, with the large stone resembling the trap. With a little use of the imagination, one can see the outline of the bear with its hind feet in the "trap."Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 11-19-1966.
