Details

This is an original press photo. In a tradition of scouting, Milwaukee Boy Scouts formed a big ring around a campfire at Indian Mound Reservation in Waukesha County. They were one unit of about 300 boys attending a week long camping session. Because of limited facilities, the camp has to turn away about 100 more boys each week. In a campaign now within 85% of its goal, $500,000 is being sought to expand this and three other camps. Photo measures 9.5 x 7.25inches. Photo is dated 07-18-1956.
