This is an original press photo. Looking over the United Mine Workers applications for the new 100-a-month pension are (L-R): James Mark Jr., Acting Director of the Pension; Marian Edmunds, Administration Assistant to Miss Roche; and Josephine Roche, Director of the Fund. Applications for the pension are being mailed for first time to all members more than 62 years of age, who have 20 years in the soft coal mines.
